Most Korean men have to go to the Korean military without disabled people for two years. I also went to the military. If a person do not go to the military, he get a notice of enlistment twice, it means that he can delay to go to the military twice. After delaying twice, he will be gone to the military by the military police . Some men do not want to go to the military because of their religion. They go to jail for 2 years. When I was in the Korean military, I also learn many things such as Eddie. I do not have experience about the war, but I learned how to shoot a gun, march, using knife, and accustom dirty environment. Some people have an experience about the war because sometime, the north Korea provoke a war to the south Korea, soldiers who work nearby the area can have experience about the war. I was luck because I do not have the experience.
Summary for " the five people you meet in heaven" (week 6) In this part, Eddie meet his captain and his comrade in arms. After that, the enemy take them to mining. it have 4 people watch Eddie and his comrade in arms. then Rabozzo died for sick and the enemy's gun. Finally, they kill 4 enemy and run away. also they burn this place. also this part have 5 key points. 1. Eddie meet his captain. 2. Eddie learn many skills when he join the army. 3. The enemy take them to mining. 4. Rabozzo died. 5. They run away and burn this place.
