It's not easy for us to forgive others.  Eddie's father  chose to forgive his friend Mickey. He jumped into the cold water to saved the guy who he wanted to kill before. He forgiven him, even he made a big mistake. I think Eddie's father is right. Everyone can make  mistakes in life. Sometimes, those mistakes hurt us seriously. We feel so anger with them, but things are not always what they seem. Like Mickey, he was coarse, but he was not evil. In our life, there are many problems like this. We should be tolerant.
