ReplyDeleteIn this part,Ruby let Eddie know more about his father and give him some lessons. The first one is"loyalty". We always loyal to others like Eddie's father, he is loyal to his friend even he dies for this. The another one is freed of it",so she want Eddie to forgive his father.Eddie hold his father accountable for all of its losses such as freedom,career,hope. Actually,Eddie hate his father, at the same time, he still love his father, we always say"how deep we love,how deep we hate". For example,if my best friend say bad words about me,I will be fury and hate her very much, but if a stranger person say it, maybe I just walk through her and don't care about her because I think I don't know her.I will feel anger but the emotion will not arrive the level of resentment, but if she is my friend, I will be rage. At that time, I will feel wronged because I think we have close relationship, but she betray me, so in our daily life, we always see that lovers can not be friends after they breaking in general because they loved deeply before, so how they are hurt deeply.
I like your example Jun. Sure we aren't expecting from our friends to say something that may hurt us. Otherwise, we might treat strangers who made us feel sad fairly. It's a complicated phenomenon. I think that what makes it hard to find a real friend, so it is good if we found a real friend in our life.

ReplyDeleteIn a place where was too much snowing, the old women showed Eddie a tragedy scene on fighting between Mickey and Eddie’s father and mother. Another scene Eddie saw Eddie’s father was helping Mickey from drowning in an ocean. Then, Eddie became confused on what he have seen, so the old women explain for him why his father helped his friends Mickey although he tried to kill his mother. Next, after Ruby told Eddie the last moments for his father in the hospital, she educated him how she knew all these stories. The final moments for Eddie and Ruby were she taught him to forgive his father, then she has gone.
