2. Eddie is a kind maintenance man who work at a amusement park. His life has repeated day and day, and he felt a little boring. The start of story is sadness.
3. It is a good way to connect each part and let readers continue to read.
4. I guess Marguerite is an important character. In first chapter, it talks some scenario about Eddie and Marguerite, and let readers know the basic information for each character.

The story is talking about Eddie who died at his 83rd birthday in Ruby Pier which is an amusement park. Eddie's life was spent at Rudy Pier as a repairman. He was a squat, and his left knee was wounded in the war. At the process that Eddie took his last walk along Ruby Pier, he meted an elderly couple, gave Dominguez twenty dollar, and thought about his ill. Children liked Eddie. He meted a young girl who he can not remember her name clearly. He made a rabbit for this girl. Suddenly, the cart of the Freddy's Free Fall was titled at an angle, and four people were in dangerous. Eddie asked Dominguez to tell Willie how to rescue those people. Eddie did not know why the cart ran out of rails. the reason of accident is Nicky unconsciously lose his car key in the rail when he rode Freddy's Free Fall. After the last person was saved, the NO. 2 cart broken free from the ride and fell to the pier. At this moment, Eddie saw the little girl who he made a rabbit for was in dangerous. In order to save the girl, Eddie jumped out of the way and tried to push the girl out of the path of the falling cart. Eddie did not get out of the way in time was killed by the falling cart.

ReplyDeleteThe end of Eddie's story was touched by another seemingly innocent story, a young man named Nicky who just begun to drive and was not comfortable carrying the key chain. He came to the Ruby Pier and rode all the fastest rides with his friends. When they returned to the car, he found he lost his key which is single in his jacket pocket. And the Eddie's story was end by this car key which wedged the pulley. In our real life, someone's life might be changed by other people did something that seems having no concern.
