When I have time to summarize my past, I always think about how many worths I do and how many regrets I have. Actually, whatever happens in the past, we can’t change anymore. Only we can do is to summarize the experience and learning something form past events, like Eddie’s caption. He joins the war, kills the enemy, and dies at last. In heaven, Eddie’s caption learns about his experience and finds worth. He believe he make some meaningful thing for his country. Even he dies, he doesn’t regret anymore and that’s enough. Assume I am more than 90 and almost down, can I say: I regret nothing in my past? I don’t know. However, I want to mention that I need try our best to live well right now. Hope I will not have any regret at the end of my life.
